About This Blog

This blog is an online journal, marking my entry into trading with Wolfe Wave Analysis. I am a new practitioner of Wolfe Wave analysis and thus I hope to perfect my trades by following this online journal.

I welcome serious traders who might stumble upon this blog to leave their comments/suggestions/critique my analysis.

Trades are set up on a weekend for the upcoming week. Because I am a beginner to Wolfe Wave analysis, I will be restricting myself to only a few currency pairs and a few trades per week.

The trade set up posts will be revisited at or around the estimated time of arrival to analyze the trades.

All trade set ups have a naming convention, which is DMPAIR. In case of multiple trades within a pair, the trades are suffixed 1, 2 and so on.

The purpose of posting my trades here is to help me analyze my trades and also figure out the mistakes. While there are automated tools that can be used, I have noticed that they aren't correct all the time. While manually plotting Wolfe waves can get tedious, especially when you get them wrong, I believe this is the best way to learn trading with the concept of Wave Theory and especially Wolfe Waves.

I make use of various tools to help with plotting Wolfe Waves. These include:
  • Schaff Trend Cycle
  • Volumes
  • Median Lines
  • Fibonacci Levels
  • Stochastics
In most trades, I use a combination of any of the above types of trading tools.
